Isn't it great Diane to find a song that speaks to you! To find one such as The Swimming Song that tells you everything is something special yet again.

To my long time friend Di: I know writing your StB 3 song project was an emotional journey for you, but when you hit upon the unusual choice of the Swimming Song it gave you a foundation for your story and it it seemed to just flowed out. As I said, we have know each other a long time but when you play music with someone it takes that friendship to a whole new level. I am grateful to you, thanks.

Di. That's a wonderful description of your journey, which has obviously at times been difficult, and the part that music, people and StB play in it. I really appreciate your valuable, quiet, unassuming contributions to StB and the people in it. As much as you say you need people in order to sing, it boosts all of us to be invited to play with you. We are a much better group because you choose to share your time with us.

Hi Di, I guess through adversity comes reflection. The things you have learned about yourself and others and also a way to move forward. I learned the violin in England as a nine and ten year old. When we came to Australia in 1973 I begged my parents for a violin. Xmas that year I got the box. A fucking guitar!!!! I never played it. lol.
